Hawks RV Service is a locally owned and operated RV Service business in St. Louis.   We are looking for an employee that's interested in troubleshooting, repairing and remodeling RV's.  Training on how to service RV’s will be provided so no formal RV service experience is required.  Candidates must demonstrate a fundamental understanding of RV's and have experience performing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or general carpentry type work.

Pay is based on experience. Paid vacation beginning after the first year of full-time employment with the company.  Starting Equal opportunity employer.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform diagnostic testing, repair or replacement services for customers

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance or installation

• Keep service writer appraised of work progress

• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards

• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

• Tow trailers and 5th wheels with company vehicles, drive all sizes of motorhomes

• Perform other duties as assigned
   

Essential Job Skills:
 

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience

• Minimum 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred

• RVIA / RVDA certification helpful but not required

• Positive attitude and caring about the customers’ needs
   

Job Environment:
 

• Exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending. Must furnish own hand/shop tools.

• Valid driver's license

• Shop is located at 1500 South Outer Road, Eureka MO. 63025 

• Work hours M - F 8 to 4, Sat 8:30 to 3:00
